C5ZZ-7610962-A Ford description of this plate is "Plate - Front floor lower cross member". All 1969-73 Cougar convertibles and all 1965-73 Ford Mustang convertibles use this plate. Used to cushion and protect top vinyl from excessive wear from side rails. Unfortunately none of the reproductions that we have found resemble the OEM pads. Shown is a 1969-70 rear glass window from a Convertible. Originals were made by the Corning glass company. The examples we currently have in stock have a bad seal and may or may not have the original zipping intact. Expect to get the glass only unless you call for specifics about stock on hand.

This pair of reproduction convertible top hooks are beautifully chrome plated and features correct thread size. Looks close to original. These hooks are actually for 71 - 73 Cougars and Mustangs, but will work just fine on the 69 - 70.

100% complete top frame as removed from a 69 - 70 Cougar. These tops are identical to Mustang with the exception of the rear bow being slightly higher on a Cougar. We carefully break this down by removing the header and crossbows and placing the original bolts back in the holes. Once you get this from UPS it will be very evident how it goes back together.

This original part has been reinforced to brace the front frame rails / tie together lower control arm pivots in a superior way to the original design. This design will prevent any camber change in hard cornering.
