Used to cushion and protect top vinyl from excessive wear from side rails. Unfortunately none of the reproductions that we have found resemble the OEM pads. OEM pads looked canvas on the under side that goes against the convertible top rails, and what looked like the soft side of a velcro strip on the upper side that makes contact with the convertible top itself. These are still highly recommended as they keep the convertible top rails from rubbing thorough the convertible top.
