Description

This sound deadener is comprised of one layer of tar sound deadener and a layer of Jute.

Here is a shot of the original sound deadener pulled (slightly) apart to expose the en-capsuled insulation. This new OEM style sound deadener is very similar, but is lacking the extra layer of tar on the bottom. This can be overcome by adding the tar only kit to this kit. This combination will come by far the closest to OEM than any other kit available!

The trunk section was cutout in 3 places

Not sure why my trunk section had 3 holes punched in it . The pictures clearly show only two.

Fit was good bought the extra padded carpet to make up the difference in the less thickness of the underlay.

Just want to be certain, is this designed to be installed with the black rubber layer down or up? There were no instructions included and I can see pros and cons on where the rubber goes verses the fabric.

Does this kit contain the barrier that goes directly behind the passenger seat, separating the trunk space? Or this just the flooring under the seat?
