This set includes 6 seats, other kits only include 4 seats. Please note that starting in mid to late 1967, the control valves had 5/16" fittings all the way to 1970.

This would be for the non-competition suspension Cougars. U-Bolt length 7 inches, and threads 1-1/4 inch in length. U-Bolts include two (2) correct style attaching nuts 7/16-20 threads. This size of U-bolt seems to be the most common found on Cougars, no matter the leaf pack stack.  Ford part number C7WY-5705-A. This plastic cover was put in place to cover the void at the very top of the panel. They are side specific and the textured side is installed upwards, on the bottom side you will find the Ford engineering number C9ZB-7654607-A and are marked L.H. for the passenger side.

This vacuum actuated door assembly was used on several performance motors without Ram Air. When extra air was needed under heavy acceleration the vacuum actuator opened the door on the side of the air cleaner base. The actuator on this unit needs to be rebuilt so this is considered a good core only.

Used vacuum hose for the steering column release valve used in the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang equipped with the tilt / tilt away steering column. Regular vacuum hose can be used to replace this hose if you are missing the original. However, it will not be correct. This nice original FoMoCo hose has the correct ribbing, stripes and comes with the firewall grommet. If you are missing this piece and you want your car to be right, this is a must have.

This unit mounts on the main air chamber, it opens and closes the air vent. Made of nylon with a steel and brass plunger just like original. This unit is easy to test and can be seen by removing the glove box.
