    Must have for 69-70 convertible owners or anyone else who wishes to tighten up the notoriously weak front inner structure of the 67-70 Cougar / Mustang. All three of these easy to install upgrades are outlined in the BOSS 302 Chassis Modification book that is NOT included in this package. After you install this kit you will wonder how you could have possibly lived this long without it. Even if you already have the one piece export brace, the chances are it is the old ill fitting off-shore reproduction we see so many of. Look close at the pictures below, this unit closely resembles a NOS original brace in every way. This is a good gift idea as it is easy to install and will fit on any 67-70 Mustang or Cougar no matter what model or engine.

    Hi, will this fit in a '67 with a '87 5.0 swap? The standard braces won't fit because of the intake manifold.

    The weld in pieces should but if the factory braces will not fit, the export brace would not.

    This is the same export brace we sell separately (https://secure.cougarpartscatalog.com/93/11439/export-brace-black-premium-repro-1967-1968-1969-1970-mercury-cougar-ford-mustang-shelby.html). We currently only sell export braces from Scott Drake, as we have found the ones from other manufacturers to be of lesser quality.
