Purchased this kit. Everything fits the car. Export brace is of good quality. The sheet metal braces also fit will. I probably won't use those. I don't plan on racing they can be added later. The export brace is needed for your car. Highly recommend!

I ordered this kit to installed along with repairing significant rust damage to the front frame along the shock towers. The export brace needed the car to be fit to it (great advice Don), used a porta power to get the job done.



The shock tower supports were solid and fit in perfectly atop the frame repair- they do not lay flat. The change to the handling in the car is not only noticinle, but a major improvement. Well worth the price.

Export brace for perfect instant change to the engine bay looks and strength. I do recommend installing the brace followed by the engine cross member parts fully welded and ready to bolt in. Last the shock towers brace it should stay nice and squared ready for the reinstall of the remaining components.

The export brace has a hefty construction a must if you are putting a modern engine in your cougar or mustang. I was very surprised how thick and there was no sharp edges on the weld ins. Very pleased
