Quality reproduction for all 1969-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with FMX automatic transmissions. This FMX switch is correct for 1972 and 1973 but works fine on 1969,
1970 and 1971. The only difference is that the later models had one
extra plug and wire that will not be utilized when used on a 1969-71. All but one plug will be utilized on the 1969-71 applications. This plug and wire is not needed and can either taped off or clipped. Replaces original Ford part numbers C9ZZ-2A247-C, D2ZZ-7A247-A, & D2ZZ-2A247-B.
