cant work out how they should fit, no instructions, doesnt seem to fit 100% in any direction.

Definitely better than what I had

My old taillight protectors were somewhat beat up and were starting to split along the seam/fold where they angle towards the top. Definitely better than what I had before.

Having trouble with the orientation of the protectors, flipped these things in all directions with no good results.

Take a look at the second picture, that's the way they go, slant toward the top.
