This product is an NOS Part.
NOS items are OEM parts from Ford that have been sitting on shelves or in warehouses for years. These are often great examples of the orignal parts, but they may have scratches or other shelf wear.
However be aware that some NOS parts are "service replacement" parts. "Service replacement" parts are not exact replacements of the parts that were installed at the factory, but are what Ford considered as "good enough" and were used at Ford dealerships after the original supply of parts was exhausted.

This FMX switch is correct for 1972 and 1973 but works fine on 1969, 1970 and 1971. The only difference is that the later models had one extra plug that will not be utilized when used on a 69 - 71.

Boy service is just not the same as the "good old"? days. I ordered a half a trunk load of parts and pieces from West Coast Classic Cougar and about 2 hours later got a phone call informing me that the order was picked and shipped. What are things coming to? Where is the fun in that?.....no more waiting days / weeks to find out if the parts are even available, no more multiple phone calls begging for your parts to be shipped. And Hey, Don/Lin....that 2 hours....you guys gotta slow down a bit or yer gonna hurt yourselves.
