Reproduction pair of aluminum 428CJ valve covers. Correct on 1969-1970 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with 428CJ engines. This is the plain finned aluminum valve cover. Sometimes called 1969 Shelby valve covers. Ford master part number C9ZZ-6582-B. Casting number can also be C9ZE-6583-B. *Note - Some 1969-70 428 Super Cobra Jet engines came with a different style of  "Snake" finned aluminum valve covers.

Finned aluminum Ford cast valve covers for any 1970-71 Ford or Mercury with 429CJ engine. Almost correct on 1971 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with N or C code 429CJ engines. D0OE-6583-A is the part number cast on both. These both have the same opening for the oil filler cap on both sides. Technically, for 1971, the passenger side cover would have a round hole for the PCV grommet and have a D1OE-6583-CA casting number.

These valve covers no longer come with the word "Cougar", only the walking cat. Before these high quality reproductions were reproduced original pairs often traded hands for $400-600. Same as our crinkle finished Mercury Cougar valve covers but with a polished finish. These are rarely in stock so do not be surprised if our system will not let you order. We get these from Scott Drake and the only reason they polish a few sets a year is when they find a set of black covers that have a defect, they send them in to be polished. So... Voltage regulator for the 1968, 1969, and 1970 manufactured before 9/15/1969 that is not equipped with factory AC. This regulator has "C8AF-10316-A" printed on to it, actual Ford Part number is C3SZ-10316-B or D4TZ-10316-A. This is Ford Regulator Number GR-341. These new voltage regulators are improved and more reliable than the units we've sold previously.

Warning light panel from a 1969 or 1970 Eliminator model Mercury Cougar. This is a modified light panel for the center of the dash. We mill out the raised portion of the bezel where the lights are framed. We mill flat the panel so that the reproduction block off plate can be attached flush with the panel. Eliminator block off plate sold separately. Ford part number C9WY-10C854-B.

Warning light panel from a 1970 Standard model Mercury Cougar. This is the light panel in the center of the dash. There are four visual check items that light up, 'BELTS', 'LOW FUEL', and 'DOOR AJAR', 'LIGHTS'. Specify the color of rubber in the comments or notes. Keep in mind that most of the colors fade or change colors due to UV light and age. Also realize that the rubber trim has shrunken, and may have poor fitment. Plan on dying the rubber trim and re-gluing it to this chrome panel. The...

Washer or spacer for heating and air conditioning box levers or shafts. Fits 3/16 inch studs or rods. In most cases you will also want to get a push on retainer to keep secure.

#373820-S Copper washer for attaching the 8 inch or 9 inch third members to the axle housings. Steel washers will leak, made from copper which is a soft metal and seals under the attaching nuts. Copper washers like the OEM Ford installed washers. Takes 10 washers total for both 8 and 9 inch rear ends. *Tip - It is a good idea to inspect or replace your old washers, many times they have tool marks from the housing or nuts that cause small troublesome leaks.

Almost identical to the original, tab is a bit longer. *NOTE*1969 Cougar owners do not need this part as it is built in the the chromed plastic, rectangular bezel on the door panel.

AMK seat belt washer B-13023. 0.46" ID x 1.25" OD zinc flat washer. Sized so that it rides on the shoulder of the seat belt bolts. It allows the retractor to rotate freely between this washer and the head of the seat belt bolt on 1969-73 cars. Two required per car, used only on the re-tractors.

This is the rubber spacer / washer that goes between the bolt head and the metal washer of your seat belt hardware. The purpose of the rubber washer is to dampen any vibrations caused by the movement of the seat belt.Sold individually# 354959-S

Often you will see minor irregularities in these washers. These would be considered "blems". Two required per car, used only on the re-tractors.
