*NOTE* 1969 - 1970 Convertible mats do not have any covering to the right of the gas tank. This is in fact how the originals were made. Many Convertible owners prefer to have a full cover mat. If that is you we suggest you purchase the coupe mat for your convertible.
This is the best made, most correct Mercury Cougar trunk mat on the market (Mustang mats will not fit). Made of heavy die-cut vinyl with correct gray and black plaid pattern. Do NOT confuse this with the light duty mat you will see elsewhere listed for the same money or less. The budget mats you see elsewhere weigh only a few ounces and flail around inside your trunk every time you close the lid! The pattern will not smudge or wear off easily and it will lay flat and fit perfect the first time. The budget mats are made of light duty table cloth material and have to be glued to stay in place.
Dear WCCC,
I just wanted to let you know my order # 25781 had arrived on Monday, and I finally came around to pick it up at the German customs today.
The contents of the box just made my day! Your trunk mat indeed is the finest available. It is truly superior to the flimsy, cheap, felt-backed stuff that other vendors sell.
It fits perfectly in my trunk; and the plaid pattern matches the original printing very well.
I am VERY pleased with your parts and business. Great price, well-packed and fast shipping, and by far the best shipping costs I have ever seen in ten years of buying car parts from various sources in the USA.
Thank you so very much!
God bless & Merry Christmas to you, Simon
