    This is the exact same cut of sound deadener as the tar based sound deadener, but cut out of the foil heat shield rather than the paper backed tar. The foil heat shield weighs over 20 Lbs less than the paper backed tar when cut into the same pattern. This makes shipping this over seas much more affordable than the paper backed tar version of the underlayment kit.
