1970 Mercury Cougar

Retainer that screws to upper rear lip near the quarter glass on all 1969-70 Mercury Cougar hardtops and 1970 Ford Mustang coupes. Ford lists this part as: Retainer - quarter trim panel rear. We see these three ways on 1969-70 Cougars: one retainer in the rear position alone, two of these retainers front and rear, and one small retainer at the rear and one large retainer at the front of the panel.

Reproduction Lower Windshield Moulding Retainer for the 1969 1970 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang 

Angled cup or retainer, used with the wiper switch, it locates and maintains the angle to the dash from behind. 1969 and 1970 are different, obvious when you realize that the flat spot is indexed differently between the two years. Ford part numbers: DOZZ-17C491-A, D0ZB-17C491-A.

Used door lock and trunk lock cylinder retainer clip. Not exactly the same as the door lock clips. We have created all of the components needed to economically install the steel nutsert or Riv-nut for the exterior mirrors that mount to the car doors. Our steel Riv-nut uses a 1/4 inch hole. Used roller for any 1969-70 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang hardtop or convertible rear quarter glass channel. Often times one of the little branches breaks off and allows chattering of the window movement. Included is a good roller and drilled out rivet. These can be reused if you drill out the center of the rivet and using a tap, cut threads into the hole of your desired machine screw or bolt size. Re-install with a washer and you are done.
