Reproduction 2 speed windshield wiper switch for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. These "off shore" units are what other vendors offer, but they pretty poor quality and spotty at best. We highly recommend that you buy our good used units which you can get right here.

New Old Stock NOS windshield wiper switch for any 1970 Cougar or Mustang. Marked DOZB-17A553-A on the back. This is the two speed variety, the 1970 switch has a longer shaft than the 1969 version.

The second image shows an original GE 212-1 bulb. These bulbs are no longer available, they have been superseded by bulb 212-2 (first picture).

Miniature light bulb for any 1969-70 Mercury Cougar Standard Model with the door ajar feature. Non-XR7 Cougars, but with the convenience group option. Original equipment GE 257 light bulb. This is a flashing light bulb. It has a metal strip that heats up and breaks contact for a flashing effect. Starts out with the bulb on, and eventually starts flashing over a period of a few seconds.

This is a replica of the warning tag that came on positive (+) terminal of Autolite batteries when the 1967 - 1972 Cougars and Mustangs were shipped from the factory.

We are excited to bring these new reproduction chrome backup light bezels for the 1969 and 1970 Mercury Cougar to the market. The sockets, pigtails and lenses are not included so you will need to gently remove your originals and install them in these bezels. You can find the lenses here.

Not only can you use this stuff on your car, you can use it on your ATV's, quads, dirt bikes and even your ride on lawnmower! A handy item to have laying around your garage. Of course, there's a little more messy, mostly free alternative which you can find the ingredients for online, but why bother? This is a simple, fairly cheap product to have.

Sold as a pair, we suggest you send your cores in advance or at least email us several good quality images if your cores are questionable. If your cores are heavily pitted, cracked or the studs have been over tightened (causes part to dimple / warp) then your cores are not acceptable for restoration. This die cast bezel with a brushed finish was used from 1969 to the first part of 1970. This is a clean example with no pits or obvious scratches. The engineering number found on the back is C8AB-14505-B.

This used grade "A" bezel for the driver side master switch was used in the latter part of 1970 through the 1972 model year. These do not "pry" off rather they are removed by slipping a small screw driver between the bezel and door panel and depressing the clip tab so as to release it from the master switch housing.
