This passenger side (right hand) reproduction emergency / parking brake cable idler bracket mounts to the right front floor pan. The idler bracket is often discarded when the floor pan is removed for replacement. We also have good used units in stock for those that desire 100% correctness.

This used emergency / parking brake cable connector is for the Mercury Cougar only. That is because it is longer than the Mustang version due to the Cougar's longer wheelbase. This connector connects the two ball ends of the long and short emergency brake cables. Ford part # C7WY-2A790-A.

This is a new gasket meant for use with stock Ford intake manifolds and correct Autolite/Motorcraft 4300 carburetors. Single gasket as shown with correct metal sandwich, if you have a carburetor spacer plate you would need two gaskets.

These original clip on center caps are an inferior design compared to our reproductions that screw on from the back. The originals had varying shades of blue, whereas the repro has a solid blue. Headlamp center shaft actuator rod clips. Sold individually, two clips needed, one on each side of the shaft. Not really needed, probably kept the shaft ends from moving during installation. We have found two different sizes of these clips. No pattern between 1969 and 1970.

These are used hose clamps that have a tab and fold over on them selves. These were dipped in a rubber like substance to prevent chaffing. The ones that we have available do have some cracking or damage to this coating. It should be easy to 'dip' them again with the product that is available in most hardware stores. We normally see 2 of these clamps, or straps bundling the hoses on most cars. These clamps should fit a variety of different Ford and Mercury products, not just Mustang and Cougar....

Band or ring style factory exhaust pipe clamp. For 2-1/4 inch outside diameter exhaust pipes. Comes with a course sheet metal type hex head bolt. Ford part number C6AA-5A272-A. *Not all 1969 & 1970 Cougars had 2-1/4 inch tailpipes from the factory. Check the outside diameter of your current tailpipe for fitment. Part number C5DA-5A272-B is the factory style 2" tailpipe clamp.

Ford part number C9WY-6510198-A. This is the metal rocker moulding clip that attaches the front and rear of the mouldings to the car in 1969 (except the Sport Special which only has them on the rear). In 1970 a Phillips screw held the rear end of the rocker moulding to the quarter panel on each side so just the fronts of the mouldings used these clips in 1970.
