    Description

Must have for 69-70 convertible owners or anyone else who wishes to tighten up the notoriously weak front inner structure of the 67-70 Cougar / Mustang. All three of these easy to install upgrades are outlined in the BOSS 302 Chassis Modification book that is NOT included in this package. After you install this kit you will wonder how you could have possibly lived this long without it. Even if you already have the one piece export brace, the chances are it is the old ill fitting off-shore reproduction we see so many of. Look close at the pictures below, this unit closely resembles a NOS original brace in every way. This is a good gift idea as it is easy to install and will fit on any 67-70 Mustang or Cougar no matter what model or engine.

This kit comes with the Chrome export brace instead of the Black one.

Here's our little film to help you fortify your flexxy feline!

Look closely at how deep the ridges are on this new high quality brace. 90% of all export braces you see are junk as they do not fit right, look right or provide the rigidity of the originals. This is a very good quality part. The BOSS Chassis manual refers to the export brace as the Export-Type Spring Tower to Dash Brace on page 7.

You can keep your original unmodifed cross member or return it to us for a core refund. No rusted, dented cores will be excepted for credit. If you need original mounting bolts we have good used ones available.

The shock tower reinforcement plates require welding but are not hard to install and are not easily seen once they have been installed and painted black. Very important upgrade for those that do not have the reinforcement plates on the engine side of the shock towers.

I bought my 69 Cougar in Jul of '09 as a retirement from the Army gift to myself. From day 1 it had intermittent heating problems that I tried to fix. I changed the radiator, thermostat, water pump, and added 2 12 in 1400 cfm electric cooling...

My 1971 Cougar XR7 was retrofitted with a Ford “400”, Edelbrock intake and 4 barrel carb, TCI Street Fighter trans, B & M Hammer shifter, and dual turbo exhaust. While this sounds interesting, the Cougar itself was seriously neglected and...

WCCC hooked me up with an original glove box cable and the correct screws WITH shoulders for my glove box. Their listing for these screws explains that the original screws have a shoulder for the cable and most people put in the wrong screws--which...

I have been a cougar owner for just shy of 30 years, I have been dealing with part problems for a very long time. The people at WCCC have always be honest, and overly helpfull. I now have a 1970 XR-7 mostly rebuilt, and my son has a 1968 base...

What did you LIKE about your experience? * : I am fairly new to WCCC, four or five orders (at the time of writing), but I am blessed to have found WCCC for sure. I had a small problem, couldn't find anything to work for the condensation drain on my...

I have made many purchases online with WCCC but chose this time to make a 1400 mile round trip and visited them in person. I brought a van load of parts with me that needed a home. Don helped unload them then quickly assessed the value which I...
