1967 Ford Mustang

Complete reprint of the 1967 Vacuum Schematic for the Mustang. If you would like we can include a copy of the Vacuum Schematic for the Cougar Vacuum Headlight System from the Ford Master Parts Catalog. This is for Mustang so it will not show the Cougar but will work for the vacuum system. Mustang and Cougar were the same with the exception of the headlights.

This unit mounts on the main air chamber, it opens and closes the air vent. Made of nylon with a steel and brass plunger just like original. This unit is easy to test and can be seen by removing the glove box. Often it is the internal spring that fails on these and if your Cougar or Mustang will not easily change between blowing through the defrost ducts and the floor duct, this unit may be the culprit. Vacuum switch that attaches to the air conditioning lever assembly on all 1967-68 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustangs with integral A/C.Ford number stamped C7ZA-19B919.

Mounts on the rear of either the 289-2V or 289-4V factory cast iron intake manifold. This valve has three equal sized vacuum hose fittings in addition to the steel line going to an intake manifold vacuum source. Ford part number C6AZ-9B289-E. 1967 California emissions only.

Mounts on the rear of the intake manifold, it must be a 1967 or possibly a 1966 "S" intake manifold. There are no mounting provisions on 1968 or later factory cast iron intake manifolds. This valve is used on Mercury Cougars and Ford Mustangs equipped with factory A/C to stop the flow of warm coolant when A/C is on.This valve is functionally the same as the OEM, but has obvious cosmetic differences from the factory valve.Replaces Ford Part #: C7ZZ-18495-A.

Features the proper cover and original logos. I A S F stamped on cover. Replaces Ford Part #: C5TF-10316-A. These new voltage regulators are improved and more reliable than the units we've sold previously. NOTE: There were two versions of this regulator, the black with yellow writing was 55 amps, and the black with silver writing was 44 amps. We do not have a supplier for the black and silver version at the moment.

Washer or spacer for heating and air conditioning box levers or shafts. Fits 3/16 inch studs or rods. In most cases you will also want to get a push on retainer to keep secure.

#373820-S Copper washer for attaching the 8 inch or 9 inch third members to the axle housings. Steel washers will leak, made from copper which is a soft metal and seals under the attaching nuts. Copper washers like the OEM Ford installed washers. Takes 10 washers total for both 8 and 9 inch rear ends. *Tip - It is a good idea to inspect or replace your old washers, many times they have tool marks from the housing or nuts that cause small troublesome leaks.

Almost identical to the original, tab is a bit longer. *NOTE*1969 Cougar owners do not need this part as it is built in the the chromed plastic, rectangular bezel on the door panel.

Used on all four 1967 belts for a total of 8 per car. Found to be slightly dished on most examples we see.
