If you want to install factory shoulder belts on your 1967 Cougar or Mustang, you need to install these shoulder belt brackets. It's a threaded block inserted into the clip that holds it in place. 67 Cougars and Mustangs didn't come with shoulder belts, but the raised area where these brackets attach is still present. Fine scratches but great for the guy who wants original. The Reproduction does not have the II-DMI-6 lettering at the bottom like this original. Must have the correct cylinder heads with the drilled and tapped holes for these tubes. Also called air manifold, this unit is part of the air manifold assembly.

This tube is embedded into the cylinder head making it rather difficult to remove intact. Note that the nut and ferrule assembly is made of two pieces, with the ferrule being a compression fitting used to secure the smog tubes to a series of ports on the cylinder head. Sold individually, 8 total needed for smog installation. Application is 1967 - 1970 390, 427. 428CJ engines. In 1975 Ford started making these out of stainless steel. This reproduction cigar / cigarette lighter socket is a good fit and is easy to install. This lighter socket also comes with the retainer. Replaces Ford part # C6ZZ-15055-B.

C7SZ-3D600-A  Power steering pump adjusting spacer for use without air conditioning. For most 1967 - 1969 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang with 289, 302, 390, 428CJ engines, excludes 1969 351W and 1969 Boss 302 engines. Spacer dimensions: 7/16" I.D. x 1" O.D. and 1/2" thick. New internal speedometer gear fits 4 speed toploader transmissions. The largest number of 4 speed toploaders came stock with this gear. Replaces Ford Part #: C4DZ-17285-A.

This clips affixes the plastic speedometer gear to the cable. Some have found that this OEM original clip fits a little better than the reproduction we offer. *Trivia* Did you know the first Cougar cast for production in 1968 was this "Custom Cougar"? This fine example was offered up on ebay summer 2008 for a mere $6500.

Spindle nut kit for the 67 - 69 Cougar or Mustang. This 3/4-16 threaded nut fits most of the 1967-69 brake spindles. The exception would be some of the Boss 302 and some 428CJ equipped cars. Included are nut, cap, washer and cotter pin.

Used steering wheel tension spring used in the tilt / tilt away steering column found in the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. One required per car. Keeps tension on the steering wheel shaft so as to keep the steering wheel from contacting the upper column cover. Used strap or support bracket for the foam air conditioning vent tube going to the passenger side A/C vent. The electrical assembly manual indicates that two of these strap brackets were installed above inside the dash above the glove box. C7ZZ-5482-B This is a factory used front sway bar. This is the same size 3/4 inch diameter as the 289 and 302 sway bar but has a slight difference in the bends for the 1967 390-4V or 6.5Liter engines. This bar was factory identified with a One-Yellow and One-Blue paint stripe. This factory used front sway bar, does not include any mounting brackets or end link kits.
