This clip is hidden about midway under your console and is used to keep the wire running to the back seat light in place. It attaches to the driver side of the console base. Correct for both XR7 and standard consoles.
These original clips hold better than the reproductions we offer. If you look closely you will see the angle bend is more acute on the originals. For you 71-73 owners with warped panels you will want to use these original clips (at least along the bottom edge) for a tighter hold.
