Ford called this small door latch part an adjuster. It threads onto the bottom of the door latch rod inside the door. Common to most Ford products 1965-1970. Ford part number C5AZ-62218106-A.

Reproduction front armrest in turquoise for the Mercury Cougar. This unit is ambidextrous, meaning it will fit either the driver (left hand) or passenger (right hand) sides. Although many vendors would disagree, these are in my opinion average quality. "BUT" they are the best available reproductions on the market at this time. These are about half the weight of originals and do not look correct in any way. They are far better than nothing. Bolts to the left hand and right hand lower floor reinforcement panels. This kit is good for cowls with moderate to minimal rust. Easy to install on the driver side, but takes more effort on the passenger side especially if you have A/C. Another way to avoid doing expensive cowl repairs is to purchase our cowl cover.
This is the reproduction cross member offered by most of the Mustang vendors. It is over 1.5 Lbs lighter than the factory cross members. We highly recommend purchasing our remanufactured, re-enforced cross member. It is crucial that you use the correct tapered bolts when installing these.
Good original part that has not been noticeably twisted, bumped, bent, or heavily rusted. Notice the factory indentations that are a result of the manufacturing process (dent from jig). Also know that there is always at least a couple minor dings or scrapes from decades of being the lowest point of the car. 1967 Cougars used this cast iron hinge that weighs a pound or more over the 1968 stamped steel version. You may want to opt for a 1968 hinge if your goal is to lighten your car. You will shed about six pounds if you replace all four with a set of 1968 stamped steel Mercury Cougar door hinges. Most times when your door sags you do not need new hinges but rather pins and bushings. If your holes are reemed or "hogged out" you will need to buy new hinges or our good used hinges that come with new pins and bushings. Sold individually, eight required per car. These bushings are not the same as those offered by some of the "Discount Mustang Shops". Several of the reproductions of this bushing are too large diameter and require you to drill out your hinges to make them fit. ...
