Used aluminum water neck of thermostat housing for mid-LATE 1967 Mercury Cougar or most other Fords with 390 / 428 engines. Cast aluminum finish. For use with common 2-1/8 inch thermostats. Correct for 1967 FE engines after about 11/1/1966. Not going to lie, these will show some signs of electrolysis on the inside and where the hose slips on. No thermal switch provision. This is a very hard part to find with the C7AE-8594-A casting number.
*Note - very early 1967 cars were still using the 2-1/2 inch thermostats. Cutoff was around November 1966.
