1971 Mercury Cougar

Reproduction hold down clamp rivet for the 67 - 73 Cougar or Mustang. This rivet holds the clip / clamp onto the distributor. Sold individually, 2 per car.

If your original is pitted or has come apart this will be a clean, crack free used replacement that will easily snap in place. We have a reproduction, but the finish is rougher, as shown in the comparison photo. There were originally two versions of this switch: the one shown with both round contact points in plastic, and another which had one in metal.

This rod was used on the Bendix brand booster (crimped together case). It measures 5 3/4" long. Used on many Ford products including Torino, Cyclone, Ranchero, Cobra, Fairlane and others. Reproduction scissor jack for any year Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. This is a cheap Chinese jack that is clearly marked "For Display Use Only, Not for Lifting Vehicles". It resembles an original scissors jack, but there are several differences. It functions properly and will lift weight, but we wouldn't use it on any of our personal cars. This is the ACME brand like used by Wile E Coyote.

Original scissors jack. We save the working ones that come to our yard. Hinge points should get little oil or a quick spray of WD-40. This 1/2" tall unique little screw was used on several different trim parts on the early Mercury Cougars. In 1967 - 1968 there were eight per wheel lip moulding, two per fender extension moulding, two per center grille moulding and five per hood lip moulding for a total of 50 screws. In 1969-1973 they were used on the wheel lips mouldings. The 1971 - 1973 hood lip mouldings used the same screw but it was 5/8" tall.

D0ZZ-7210-B Chromed "Hurst" labeled shifter for all 1970 - 1971 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustangs with factory installed 4 speed transmissions. Tough part to find loose, most will be attached to the correct vintage Hurst Competition shifter mechanism. The 1970 Ford master part number is D0ZZ-7210-B, 1971 is D1ZZ-7210-A. C-6 automatic transmission. Shift rod approximately 18 inches long. Rod originally had a "Red" paint daub for identification purposes on the Dearborn assembly line. 1971 only. Passenger side (right hand) front seat floor pan. This pan is cut from the full floor pans in order to save on shipping costs when a customer does not need the entire length pan. Cutting from the Dynacorn full length pans means this will be a quality cut, when compared to other pans on the market.   1967-68 style ribbing, works in 1969-70 and can be modified to fit 1971-73. *NOTE* This floor pan has the outside lip bent down which is proper for coupes, convertibles were bent up....

Here is a real treat! New in the Ford box driver side (left hand) mirror, very hard to come by these days. *NOTE* XR7 and GT Cougars ordered with a "special paint" color got this chrome mirror in place of the color keyed sport mirror that came standard with those option packages.
