Good used cut off passenger side, trunk or deck lid hinge. Fits all 1971-72 Mercury Cougar and Cougar convertible models. Sometime in 1972, the hole spacing for the trunk lid changed from 3 inches to 4-1/4 inches spacing. This hinge will have the 3 inch spacing. This scoop was made by using an original 1972 Cougar GT scoop to make the mold. 1971-73 Cougar GT's, and the J code 429CJ with ram air, all used the same scoop. The dimensions are just like the original and measure 19-1/4" at the widest point on the front, 24-1/8" at the widest point at the rear, and 25-1/2" tall when stood on end and measured at its longest point. Welded in hooked retainer for the rear seat back installation on any 1967-73 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang coupe or hard top body style. This bracket welds to the edge of the package tray. Two hooks per car, sold individually. We cut out a individual sections as shown. Make good measurements prior to removal of your old brackets. This is the large horizontal bracket that reinforces the front bumper on any 1971-72 Mercury Cougar. This is one of 6 brackets needed for mounting the front bumper. The High tone is indicated in raised letters located on the perimeter of the horn.
