NOS new old stock intermittent wiper delay switch which is sometimes called the intermittent wiper delay module. The intermittent wiper delay switch can be identified by a grounding wire that is attached to the housing. Sometimes interval or delay is used in place of intermittent for this unit. *NOTE* Must be used in conjunction with an intermittent wiper controller. Replaces part # D1ZB-17A553-BB, D2ZB-17A553-AA, MPC # D1ZZ-17A553-B.

This used intermittent wiper switch has a two speed wiper function, and when turned counter clockwise, has a rheostat that sets the different delay times. A 1969 switch can be used, but the shaft will be about 3/8" shorter, you may need to use a 1969 metal knob to use in a 1970. This FMX switch is correct for 1972 and 1973 but works fine on 1969, 1970 and 1971. The only difference is that the later models had one extra plug that will not be utilized when used on a 69 - 71. Hard to find New Old Recent Stock switch for the driver side power seat on the 71 - 73 Cougar or Mustang. Toggle switch looks accurate, however, you will need to reuse your original plugs. PLUGS NEED TO BE CHANGED FOR SPECIFIC APPLICATION. Some of the Ford part numbers include: D1WB-14B723-AA, D1WB-14B723-Ab, D2WB-14B723-AC, D1ZB-14B723-AA, D1ZZ-14A701-A, D2WY-14A701-A.

These two switches are mated together but you can separate then from the backside and replace them individually. This double switch is only for the 1969 and early 1970 Cougars. See the bezel styles below for the proper 1970 application. The bottom bezel uses 4 single switches with 2 tabs and marked C9AB-14529-B.

Reproduction one year only switch for the 1968 Mercury Cougar with power sunroof (or 1968 Ford Mustang convertible). NOTE!!!! This offshore switch is assembled with plated steel rivet contacts as opposed to brass rivet contacts like original. Whereas the Torino or Mustang do fine with 2 incandescent rear bulbs the Cougars with 6 bulbs put too much load on the switch and they fail. The only way these switches will hold up in a Cougar is if you convert to LED.
