     If we use the word "Core" in the title of the product, the item has been deemed rebuildable, but has not been rebuilt.  The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned.

    Tested and inspected neutral safety switch for the C-6 transmission installed in mid 1972-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustangs. Found on cars after build date 12/15/1971. This transmission neutral safety switch has two plugs.
    Look for a transmission code of U on your door data plate. If your car has a code X, your original transmission was an FMX and uses a different neutral safety switch.

    Replaces Ford Part #: D2ZP-7A247-AA, BA or D2ZZ-7A247-C, SW 1148.
