Both shift indicator lamps with or without a console used the same wire harness and socket, but used different diffusers. Used diffuser for the shift indicator lamp. This diffuser is used on the Cougar or Mustang WITHOUT a console and attaches to the end of the light socket on your shift indicator wire harness. Both shift indicator lamps with or without a console used the same wire harness and socket, but used different diffusers. The only difference in the harness from the 67 to the 68 was different colored wires.

Used door courtesy light lens on the 67 - 70 Cougar. Because of the heat and placement of the bulb behind this lens, they were prone to burning or in some cases melting. This lens is easily replaceable by removing the two screws holding the housing together and grinding off the studs holding the lens and reflector in place.
