    Tested and inspected neutral safety switch for the FMX transmission installed after 1/5/1972 through 1973 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustangs.
    Look for a transmission code of X on your door data plate. If your car has a code U, your original transmission was an C6 and uses a different neutral safety switch. This version is identified by having 2 plugs.
