Application for all 1971 - 1973 Cougars with factory C6 automatic transmission. Also the correct application for those wanting to install a small block C6 in their 1967 - 1970 Cougar. Original engine options include 351-2V, 351-4V, and 429CJ. We have found two versions of this crossmember, one with three holes in the middle section where the rubber isolator mounts and one with two. Single cylinder head from 1973 Mercury Cougar with Q code 351C-4V engines. Sold as a core, needs thorough cleaning and rebuilding prior to use. Typically this cylinder head has 2.04 and 1.66 inch valves, and the chambers measure out at 75.4 cc's. These are considered 'Open Chamber Heads'. This "D" clip is larger than that found on the Mustangs and 1967 Cougar because it not only hung the wiring loom on the driver side of your engine compartment but also the vacuum lines going to the headlight switch. This clip is also found under the starter solenoid and under dash.

This grade A pad for a 71 - 73 is truly a rare find. We only obtain an excellent pad like this every year or two. Grade A pads will have no cracks and will not be curling on the edges. Contact us for color on hand as the picture shown is not the actual pad you will get.

Windshield defroster nozzle for Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang without A/C. This is a "A" grade unit and will have 1 or 2 scuffs in the plastic, or small crack in the flex hose. Inside door handle release mechanism for the driver side on base model standard 1972-73 Cougar and Mustang. This latch mechanism went through a couple of revisions by the end of 1973. Ford calls this part a 'control and link assembly', this particular one only works with the base door handles as shown in the photo.
