Product Condition Grades
Below is a general description of what the criteria is for our product condition grades. These are generalizations that are intended to give you an idea of the condition of the product at a quick glance. Because different parts degrade at different rates, there are variances in what the letters represent, please see the products description for details about the condition of any particular product.
A = Excellent / Above Average
B = Average / Some flaws / Good to Excellent Driver Quality
C = Obvious flaws / Poor to Average Driver Quality
D, E, F = Worse, Worser, Worsest
Single cylinder head from 1973 Mercury Cougar with Q code 351C-4V engines. Sold as a core, needs thorough cleaning and rebuilding prior to use. Typically this cylinder head has 2.04 and 1.66 inch valves, and the chambers measure out at 75.4 cc's. These are considered 'Open Chamber Heads'. With stock pistons, these heads will net an approximate compression ration of 8.0:1.
Basic cylinder head number is 6090. Several Ford casting numbers were used, including the common D3ZE-6090-AA. 4V in the corner visible with valve covers installed.
Fits all 1973 Ford Q code 351 Cleveland 4 barrel engines. Not to be confused with the 351 Windsor engine or 351C 2 barrel engines.
These weigh 65 lbs. each, and cannot be combined with other items unless shipping truck freight.
