Reproduction rear axle outer bumper for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. These units mount on frame rail, are push in and two are required per car. Sold as a pair. Replaces Ford part # C6AZ-4730.

This 3 degree wedge properly sets the pinion angle for the drive shaft. This is a Cougar specific part which is needed due to the longer than normal rear leaf spring length. There are other wedges, but we seldom see them. This 3 degree marked wedge is the most prolific one. Feel secure in using these as a replacement.  Sold individually, two required per vehicle. These are bolted to the rear frame rails and were used to tie the car down to the transporter for the journey from the factory to the dealer. The dealer was supposed to remove them and return them for a credit as instructed by the dealer. Notice the sticker on the rear license plate frame (decal is available in the decal section)? This is the seat belt bezel located on the rear interior panel on your 72 - 73 Cougar or Mustang. Used flexplate reinforcing ring, Ford called it a fly wheel reinforcing plate. Fits all Ford small block engines including 260, 289, 302, 351W and 351C.
