This 1/2" tall unique little screw was used on several different trim parts on the early Mercury Cougars. When it's time to replace your old decaying foam seal, go with our reproduction weatherstrip retainer foam roll with peel off adhesive. Goes between the roof and door / window channel. These are not technically manufactured to fit the Cougar / Mustang, however these are very close to the originals and come from the manufacturer in a roll that is 4' X 1" X 1/8". We suggest using white lithium grease or petroleum jelly to ensure the seal will not stick to the shift lever. These are good reproductions of the originals for your American Sunroof Corporation Golde Sun Roof. The roof opening seal is 89 1/4" x 3/4" and the seal that affixes to the rear edge of the roof panel measures 42 1/2" x 3/4". These have the correct aluminum inner core with rubber bead, wrapped in the correct felt textured, black material.
