This product is an NOS Part. NOS items are OEM parts from Ford that have been sitting on shelves or in warehouses for years. These are often great examples of the orignal parts, but they may have scratches or other shelf wear.

However be aware that some NOS parts are "service replacement" parts. "Service replacement" parts are not exact replacements of the parts that were installed at the factory, but are what Ford considered as "good enough" and were used at Ford dealerships after the original supply of parts was exhausted.

We often leave NOS product listings on our website after they sell for reference purposes.

New old stock Ford accessory cable trunk popper. Fits late 1967 - 1973 Mercury Cougar and other Ford products. Lever release, cable and hardware, NOS Ford. Detailed instructions included. Latch not included with this kit. Sorry, the way it came. This kit was a dealer sold kit or over the counter kit. Fits a large range of Ford cars.

    Ford part number C4AZ-62432A00-A.

*Note - All 1967, and most 1968 trunk lids will not have a large enough access opening in the under side structure to allow the trunk latch to be inserted.
