Reproduction sound deadener for the seat divider on the 1967 - 1970 Mercury Cougar. This reproduction is as close to the original as possible, and is comprised of a mastic material. This item is trimmable and will fit bot the 67 - 68 and 69 - 70 seat divider.

This screw attaches the speedometer / odometer to the instrument cluster housing. Two needed per speedometer, fits all years of Cougar 1967-73. This is an 8-32 x 3/8" hex flange head machine screw with captured washer. Sold individually. 

This gives the thumb release button in your T shaped shift handle its tension. If it is rusted then your button will not return back to its outer position easily. Fits 1967-73 Mercury Cougar and 1965-73 Ford Mustang. Technically this spring fits all Ford and Mercury floor shifters 1965-73. Ford part number C5ZZ-7C300-A. The MPC shows this spring to have a free length of 2-1/16 inches.

This clip is the same as a door panel clip with the exception that it does not have the foam spacer. This clip was used on the 1968 XR7 overhead console, 1967 - 1968 xr7 and standard model upper and lower console pads, seat back access panels and several other applications. This original clip holds tighter than the reproduction. We recommend using this used clip over our reproduction for applications like the seat back because the reproductions often do not cut it. Good used grade "A" core plastic passenger side bezel that may have had one or more very minor cracks repaired. These right and left bezels would be considered grade A cores with no cracks or chips. Often there is a missing mounting stud or two on the backside but nothing that shows. Standard belts can be identified in 1967 by the plastic lift up female buckle. Deluxe belts are identified by the metal female buckle that are released by a center button. All xr7 models had deluxe belts in 67, deluxe was optional in the standard models. This is the very best we can offer. No cracks in the plastic holster, good color and no fraying on the webbing, good chrome on the male buckle and it may even have the date code tag still in place. Many of our customers have asked and requested how we clean and detail our parts. We use a combination of items, mostly fine steel wool and elbow grease. Cleans haze, crud, and years of oxidation and water spots from glass, aluminum, chrome, and rubber. 

Fixed steering column from a 1967 Mercury Cougar. Reasonably rust free column that ships as shown in picture. Often we will leave the turn signal switch in place, but you should count on it being non functional. This steering column will fit a Mustang, but you must change steering boxes. Most 1967 Mustangs came with the steering box with the long spear. Upper and lower mounting brackets, and rag joints are available, but sold separately.

Our turn signal switches are made on the FoMoCo original tooling. If you have replaced your sequential unit in the trunk with one of our new solid state sequential units and are still having problems then the turn signal switch is most likely the culprit as the only other part to the system is the wiring harness itself. Three wire tachometer for 67 - 68 Cougar. Ford wired their early (pre ‘74) tachometers so that they are part of the ignition circuit. What this means is that if the tachometer goes bad, the engine shuts OFF. It also means that you must either replace it with another series type tachometer with 35+ year old circuitry or install a jumper wire to bypass the tach.
