Reproduction set of Deluxe seat belts for the 68 - 69 Cougar or Mustang Coupe. Some things you may want to notice are that although these are made to fit both 68 and 69, the webbing is the 68 style. 1968 belts had four rows of material that make up the belt and 1969 belts had three rows (as seen in the picture above). Shaft or pivot pin for installing the drum brake pedal on any 1967 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang with automatic transmission. This is a reproduction of the 1968-70 shaft which had a Ford part number of C8AZ-2478-A. This version uses a special spring clip. We also sell the 1967 shaft, which uses a hairpin clip and washer.

Used lower shaft fixed steering column found from 1968-69 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. This is the portion that mates with the upper shaft that bolts to the steering coupler. 1968-69 lower shafts are 15-1/2 inches in overall length. They also have a lower flange with flat sides. Other Ford fixed lower shafts can be used, in most cases the sheer pins are already broken. Just slide the shafts together for the desired length. This 1967-68 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang shield, was installed at the factory to protect the heater motor from being damaged when the Big Block 390-427-428's were being dropped in. As noted in the factory assembly manuals we sell, they were supposed to be removed once the motor was in place. We have found that more often than not they were left in place as it was probably too time consuming to remove them. Technically they should not be in place on a concours car but practically...

Used windshield wiper motor cover or shield as Ford called it. Very prone to cracking and 'chalky' from age or UV light. We are not going to lie, most of these will have paint over spray or a slight amount of chalkiness. We haven't found a Ford part number other than the basic number of 17C441 which is labeled as "Shield - (Windshield Wiper Motor - Water)" as found in the Mercury MPC.

Very hard to find 69 - 70 Shelby / 67 - 69 Cougar 4 speed shifter knob. Almost a year in development was spent to get as close as possible to original N.O.S. sample. These very rarely come up for sale used and when they do, they are expensive. Knob insert is made of metal just like original not brass. If your automatic floor shifter has play in it left to right then this is the culprit. Allen head set screw for all stock Ford automatic shifter handles on any 1967-73 Mercury Cougar or Ford including Mustang. Uses the same 3/32 inch allen wrench for attaching as the originals.
