Here is our NOS vacuum valve assembly which is fairly hard to come by these days. This unit is for Mercury Cougars or Ford Mustangs with integral or factory air conditioning. This part is good until an assembly date of 1/3/1972 and, if you want, we also have good used pieces in stock for your Coug or Stang as well. Ford part # C9ZZ-19B888-A.

Backup lamp switch that mounts to the factory 3 speed shifter linkage. 69 70 71 72 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang applications. Autolite or Motorcraft switch number SW-947. Used up until 5-15-1972. This new old stock intermittent wiper switch has a two speed wiper function, but when turned counter clockwise, it has a rheostat that sets the different delay times. Switches can be physically marked with casting numbers of C9ZB-17A553-E, C9ZF-17A553-B or C9ZF-17A553-C. Any of which can be correct, and chances are, there are probably other casting numbers out there as well. This 69 switch has a total length of 3 3/8". A 1970 switch can be used, but the shaft is about 3/8" longer....

High quality alternative to the expensive OEM switch. If you have an early 67 the plug may be the dual type which is also listed on this site. This will work with your C-4 or C-6 automatic transmission. The only real difference is that this switch does not come with the FoMoCo logo or part number on it. The Wittek Company manufactured the tower clamps used on the Cougar from 1967 to 1973, the Mustang from 1964 1/2 to 1973, as well as many other Ford and Mercury cars during that period. In October or 1993, the company filed for bankruptcy. This has made the tower clamp unavailable to the classic car restorer. Our supplier was able to bid at the auction for enough of the original tooling and parts to make these clamps available again. Other companies have also reproduced these clamps, but...
