    Passenger side seat back release assembly, can me used for a conversion of 1970 high-backed seat backs for use in 1969 Mercury Cougar Eliminator and Ford Mustang Mach 1. This assembly has the release lever mounted nearly at shoulder level, factory 1970 high backs have the latch release at the hinge. This is a sneaky way to 'create' the factory 1969 high backed seats from 1970 seat backs. Comes with all hardware as shown. See picture for locating the three holes required for installation in a 1970 seat back.

    I have a 1970 mustang mach 1 with 1969 high back bucket seats. I am not sure if any 1970 mach 1 came with 1969 seats or if these seats are the original seats. I would like to convert them to 1970 seats moving the release assembly down to the hinge. Is this something I can do? Do you have any parts I can use to do this conversion?
