Original NOS shroud with correct chocolate brown color and texture as what came on your Cougar the day it was made. The later shrouds sold by Ford were smooth, black and the "Barnum Fibre Co. This shroud was what Ford would have sold you in the later years up until they discontinued them in the late 1990's. It has the original Ford part number just like the original but is made of a different material and is black instead of dark brown.Ford part number C9OZ-8146-A

Great addition to that show quality FE powered early Cougar. Unlike the reproduction this has the original part number, BARNUM BROS. FIBRE CO. INC. lettering and FoMoCo insignia at the top driver side. This was one of the last units out the door when FORD discontinued them in the 1990's. This shroud was discontinued by Ford in the mid 1990's. It really is no different in appearance from our reproduction but it does weigh a hefty 2.56 pounds and the reproduction weighs 1.76 pounds. Ford part number D2AZ-9A603-D (outer section) and D2AZ-9A603-B (inner section) make up this two piece metal shroud for all 1972 - 1973 H code 351-2V engines. The outer shield section is common to both 2V and 4V 1972 - 1973 351c engines but the inner is unique to the 2V.

D1AZ-9A603-A Metal shroud for all 1971 351 engines including H code 351-2V and M code 351-4V. One piece design uses a paper and aluminum tube to bridge to the air cleaner snorkel.

Ford part number D2AZ-9A603-D (outer section) and Ford part number D2AZ-9A603-C (inner section) make up this two piece shroud for the 1972 - 1973 Q code 351-4V engine. This inner shield conforms to the 351-4V cast iron exhaust manifold only and the outer portion fits both the 2V and 4V.

Grade A exhaust manifold heat shield for any 1970 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang with 351C engine, 2V or 4V, it doesn't matter. Uses a separate, small diameter metal tube (part number D0OZ-9652-A) that attaches to the 1970 Cleveland air cleaner snorkel. Grade A used will only have minor pitting, it will have no holes or rough rusted edges. We also stock B grade versions for less than half the money.Replaces Ford part number D0OZ-9A603-F.

This two piece heat shield has a very narrow application in that it is a one year only item and only for the 390 IP (Improved Performance). It does not mate to metal a "S" shaped heat riser tube but rather a flexible paper-foil tube that attaches to a reducer on the bottom side of the snorkel. Used heater tube for the 351C attaches to the intake manifold on the passenger side of the carburetor and has heater hoses connecting to either end. Darn near impossible part to find in used form as they are always rusted out and nasty. One year only part.Ford part # D0ZZ-18696-A.
