Alternator adjusting bracket found on 429 engines. Not technically correct for 1970-71 429CJ engines, this is the passenger car version. The true 429CJ alternator bracket is slightly different and extremely hard to find. This is a very good and economical substitute. Has Ford part number D0SE-10145-A stamping.

Application is 1967 - 1968 289/302 and 1969 Boss 302 Eliminator alternator adjusting with factory air injection emissions. Casting number C6OE-10145-A, Ford part number C6OZ-10145-A.

This air cleaner assembly never came from the factory on any Cougar, but was an over the counter option available from your Ford dealer. If you have a very nice hood blanket I would think twice before using it in conjunction with this air cleaner assembly as it will leave an imprint.
