1972 Mercury Cougar

Tested and inspected neutral safety switch for the FMX transmission installed in 1969- through early 1972 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustangs. Found on cars before build date 12/1/1971. These mount in the shifter bucket, see your shop manual for installation adjustment.Look for a transmission code of X on your door data plate. New old stock power window switch, replaces the all of the switches for 1969 and very early 1970. Master switch panel and individual door and rear windows. Replaces C9AZ-14529-D switch. Stamped C8AB-14529-A. This is the 1 tab switch. However, for most of 1970 and through 1972, these will not work in the master power window switch panel. Compare your switch to these to insure you have the right configuration. Ford engineering number imprinted on the side is C9AB-14529-B.

This vacuum actuated door assembly was used on several performance motors without Ram Air. When extra air was needed under heavy acceleration the vacuum actuator opened the door on the side of the air cleaner base. The actuator on this unit needs to be rebuilt so this is considered a good core only.

This little device may not appear to be all that important, but it has a big job to do when your engine gets too hot. This is used on cars equipped with factory A/C to stop the flow of warm coolant when the A/C is on. Not an exact replacement, but it will work just fine. Replaces Ford part #: D4AZ-18495-A.

Vacuum tested working hot water valve for any 1969-73 Mercury Cougars or Ford Mustang equipped with factory A/C. This valve stops the flow of warm coolant in the heater hose, when the A/C is on.
