1972 Mercury Cougar

This is the 3 hole version of the ball joint for the 1967 - 1973 Cougar and Mustang. Right is same as left. Two required per car. Hardware included. made in Tiawan.

Reproduction disc brake hose bolt for any 1968-73 Mercury Cougar and generally all other Ford cars with factory disc brakes. Special hollow bolt with cross drilled hole. Attaches the high pressure hose to the caliper.

Reproduction barrel nut or insert for attaching "Cougar" fender script to the fenders. Each Cougar emblem uses 4 of these barrel nuts which insert into the fender first, and then the Cougar emblem. Additionally, these nuts also go into the C pillars for attaching the XR7 badge or medallion on each side. Two barrel nuts per side for the XR7 medallions. Barrel nuts sold individually. These barrel nuts or clips are exactly like the original ones inserted into the trunk for attaching 1967-68 "Mercury" script, and 1971-72 Mercury Cougar "Mercury" Hood scripts. The manufacturer indicates that these tubular nuts fit 1/8" holes. Pin size on those emblems are 3/32". These clips are also used to attach the 1967 quarter panel emblems. Tubular or barrel nut for attaching our reproduction "C" pillar XR7 emblems with studs. We found these fasteners to install the emblems without disturbing the headliner of a 1967-68 Mercury Cougar. Lower dash bezel to the left of the steering column. This one is for those 1971-73 Mercury Cougars with factor air conditioning. Cars with only the heater option used a different bezel that has a hole for the vent cable. Used grade "A" bezel used on the passenger side door and both rear seat switches. Looks similar to the 1970 bezel but is held in place with very hard to find clips not speed nuts. Replace that old, pitted, and cut up radio bezel with this quality concours part. This is a Mustang piece that will work on your Cougar but is slightly different. The easiest way to identify a Mustang bezel from a Cougar bezel is that Mustang had four mounting holes and Cougar had five. Will need slight modification to fit Cougar.
