This driver side moulding is correct for convertible. On convertibles the top portion is trimmed to allow it to slide under the sun visor bracket. The engineering number imprinted on the back is D1ZB-6503599 for 1971-1972 and D3ZB-6503599 for 1973. Convertibles show the same casting numbers on the part, but are a modified before assembly. 1971 - 1973 Convertible spare tire mounting, J bolt. MPC lists the total length as 9-1/2 inches long, and 5 inches threaded. Application is for hubcap type wheels only, those of you fortunate to have the style steel wheels need C8OZ-1448-A above.

These are the U-shaped brackets that hold the round part of the rear sway bar. These mount to the rear frame rail. All 1970 - 1973 Cougars should have these mounting holes from the factory, 1969 and earlier Cougars do not have these holes. Two clamps needed for installation.
