Used locking pawl for the 1970 - 1979 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang that is equipped with a factory tilt steering column. This unit works in conjunction with a pin and is responsible for locking the tilt column in place. In many cases, the pin tends to move out of place and break or chip the teeth of the locking pawl. We have found that 3 of 4 tilt columns that we have disassembled have locking pawls with broken or chipped teeth. These units will be mint with no broken or chipped teeth....

Rod used for locking the C-6 transmission in "Park". Connects to the lower tab of the steering column and the C-6 transmission shift arm. Prevents the transmission from shifting out of park when the ignition key is removed. Rod is about 13 inches long and was originally marked with a red paint mark or daub. Casting number stamped on the rod - D1ZA-7E330-BA. The C-6, automatic transmission, could be ordered with any engine from 1971 - 1973. Transmission code "U" on your door data tag.

Short rubber valve stem and cap for Ford wheels or any steel wheel with a 0.453" hole. Snap in style, sticks up 2 inches from wheel surface. These will work with all of our aftermarket Ford wheels especially with trim rings. These have the Dill 627 caps. Same as the 1960's cars.

This part is installed on all XR7 fuel sending units and Cougars and Mustangs with the optional Convenience Control Package. Low quality off shore part that requires soldering to your fuel sending unit. This is a temperature sensing device that activates when the fuel level drops enough to expose the unit at which point the circuit is closed and the low fuel light comes on. Commonly referred to as a Thermister / Thermistor / Low Fuel Sending Unit.

Reproduction reinforcement plate designed to weld onto the lower control arms. Sold individually, we are not sure that you would want to even buy one of these. Set of two polyurethane bushings that insert into the rear side of the lower control arm. This set contains two bushings that measure 1 9/16 across the leading inside edge, and 1 5/8 across the outer rim.Note: These larger diameter bushings were used on Ford service replacement lower control arms. Typically found on Ford supplied lower control arms without the welded on jacking tabs.

Used bracket for installing the vertical seat cushion on a 1971-73 convertible Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. Two required per car, sold individually. Not sure of the Ford number, this part went obsolete many years ago. Please take multiple measurements of the location of your old brackets prior to removal. 

Used lower steering column shaft for 70 - 73 Cougars and Mustangs with a fixed column. Identified by length, and the round style lower flange. 1968-69 lower flange is slightly smaller with flat sides. Overall length is 16-3/8 inches.

These little rivets are used to affix the ID tag to the passenger side of the 3 and 4 speed top-loader transmissions. Most tags are held in place by two rivets but on some only two are used from the factory.
