This receptacle was used on the 1967-68 rear of all consoles except the 1967 standard. It was also used in the rear interior panels of the 1971 - 1973 Cougar for both convertible and coupe. Not correct for 1969 - 1970 convertible rear side panels.Ford part number C5AZ-6230702-A.

This ashtray lid was located on the rear interior quarter panels and was used on all 1971-73 Mercury Cougars and Mustangs. This ashtray differs from other ashtrays you will see on various Ford products in that it has a brushed finish, is stamped steel and a slightly shorter lower base section. This is the round metal threaded disc that attaches the D0ZZ-6523258-A bushing to the door glass brackets. About 1-3/4" in diameter, two each per door glass on a 1970. 1971-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang use 3 of these for retaining the door channel bracket. Ford part number 384289-S. Replaces Ford Part # C8AZ-2066-A Sold individually

Keeper or retainer for attaching the convertible top cylinder pins. These are usually broken when replacing convertible top cylinders. One retainer per side, two used per car. 1969-73 Mercury Cougar and 1967-73 Ford Mustang.This keeper also works very well for the T bolts on the 1969-70 front door window glass channels. Floating T bolt. Floating T bolt is used for attaching the door window regulator arm.

Retainer or keeper for door hinge pins on all 1968-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang, plus most all other Ford products with a typical door hinge pin. The factory installed the hinges with the pins driven in from the bottom as viewed with the doors installed. Most restorations install the pins from the top so that gravity holds them in. Used steel rear retaining bracket for the headlight switch on any 1971-73 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. These are bare steel and will have a bit of flash rust as shown, nothing serious. Replaces Ford part number D1ZB-13B107-AC.

Original retainer that clips onto the breather element nipple sticking through the air cleaner base and holds the elbow for the hose going to the PCV valve.  Ford calls this part the Crankcase Emissions Filter Retainer.The Master Parts Catalog says this part is only for 1971 and newer cars, but this part has been found on low mile 1970 cars as well. Ford part # D1AZ-9E628-A.

Push on retainer for rear drum brakes. 2 or 3 of these were used to hold the rear brake drums onto the rear axle assembly during construction of your 1967-73 Mercury Cougar or 1965 - 73 Ford Mustang. While not necessary, these are a neat concours item. Sold individually.  Ford part number 372188-S

Reproduction emergency / parking brake retainer clip set for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. These units are sold in a set of 3.

Used door lock and trunk lock cylinder retainer clip. Not exactly the same as the door lock clips. Used retaining bolt with nut for the fixed column on any 70 - 73 Cougar or Mustang. 2 of these bolts are required to holt the two sections of the upper column sleeves together.  Sold individually, 2 per column.

This used retaining clip was originally used to connect the two power steering hoses together at the power steering box. Used on all 1971-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with power steering and V8 engines. Ford shows this item in the chassis assembly manuals and it is called a hose retaining clip, and the Ford part number is D1ZA-3E506-AC.
