These anodized bright dip mouldings are much closer to the original design than our Premium Stainless mouldings. These are the brackets required to mount the optional rear bumper guards. They mount behind the rear valance and are often overlooked when people part out a Cougar. *NOTE* As is often the case, service replacement parts are painted satin black and the originals installed on the assembly line were left natural. The mounting brackets are in fact supposed to have a natural finish if your car came with them from the factory.

This is a 100% accurate reproduction down to the captured lock washer and black Zinc coating. The only difference is that these are made from a substantially better grade of steel than the originals.
