Used core half vinyl top roof trim from a 1971-73 Mercury Cougar for the passenger side. Half vinyl top option was a partial covered vinyl roof starting at the windshield and extending rearwards past mid-way on the roof. Not to be confused with the complete vinyl roof covering trim. Core trim does not require an exchange, this trim will have wear, weathering, and minor dings or distortion.

Core wheel lip mouldings are good for restoration or for a shabby looking driver. They will not be flattened out, ripped, kinked or have salt corrosion.

The right rear is the one most likely to get damaged because of it being the corner that is in the "blind spot". Remember, these early Cougars did not have RH mirrors!
