This is the stainless steel trim for the front of the boot that attaches to the upper, back side of the back seat in a 1971 to 1973 Cougar and Ford Mustang. This is a very hard part to come by in good shape.

Used driver side (left hand) lower rocker moulding / trim for the Mercury Cougar. There is a slight difference in the contour on the ends of this piece that differentiates driver and passenger side. These will not work on a 1970 as the rear wheel opening was increased in size for the 1970 model year. These 1969 mouldings are about 79-1/4" long. Half vinyl top option was a partial covered vinyl roof starting at the windshield and extending rearwards past mid-way on the roof. Not to be confused with the complete vinyl roof covering trim. Core trim does not require an exchange, this trim will have wear, weathering, and minor dings or distortion.
