Grille - Complete - Restored ~ 1969 Mercury Cougar

This is a seven piece rechromed grille. If you want your actual grille re-chromed as opposed to our grille (that can be shipped the same day as you order) it will take 30-40 days to be completed. We do not apply the black detail paint.

The end result will be a grille that has more luster than the factory but do notice that when a part with lots of sharp ninety degree angles is polished you will never have as defined corners as original. That being said, the workmanship of our grilles is far superior to most everything you will see, this is not a quickie job.

If one or more of your grille parts is not a stellar core, we can usually take your driver quality part and up-sell you to one of our premium grille sections.

Often, for instance if you have two passenger side grilles but no driver side, we may be able to swap you at no charge depending on our current stock on hand.

Like all of our rechromed parts, if you have exceptionally clean cores and have high standards you will want to send your cores in advance. When you do we will do what we call "core matching". If you send in parts with ZERO pits you will get back restored parts that had no pits prior to replating. If you pay the core charge and we send your parts out in advance of getting your cores, we just select a set randomly off the shelf as we assume you have average quality or no cores to return. If you must have the restored parts prior to sending your cores you should at least send us several detailed pictures of your cores prior to us sending out the restored parts.
