Restored passenger side (right hand) grille half for the 1969 Mercury Cougar. We use the best we have available, taken from a Western parts car and send them out to get rechromed. These grilles come naked (all parts removed) and all the black painted areas will need to be refinished. We recommend the SEM Trim Black paint that we carry.
Ford casting numbers: SAE-H-69CR and C9WB-8150
Like all of our rechromed parts, if you have exceptionally clean cores and have high standards you will want to send your cores in advance. When you do we will do what we call "core matching". If you send in parts with ZERO pits you will get back restored parts that had no pits prior to replating. If you pay the core charge and we send your parts out in advance of getting your cores, we just select a set randomly off the shelf as we assume you have average quality or no cores to return. If you must have the restored parts prior to sending your cores you should at least send us several detailed pictures of your cores prior to us sending out the restored parts.
