Rare find, NOS rubber rub strip for the front bumper guard on 1971-72 Mercury Cougar. These hard rubber bump strips attach to the front bumper guards with 2 studs from the back side. Sold individually, right is the same as left, Ford Casting number as found on the back is D1WB-17A812-AB

D3AZ-17A812-A Front bumper guard rubber pad used prior to September 5, 1972, on a 1973 Mercury Cougar. The early front bumper guards had a narrow rubber pad early on. The rear flat surface measures 3/4 inches wide. Same rubber strip either right or left side. Hard to find without some scaring on the rubber. This pad is not nearly as common as the wider one which measures about 1-1/8 inches wide.Replaces Ford part number D3AB-17A812-A.

D3AZ-17A812-B Front bumper guard rubber pad used after September 5, 1972, on a 1973 Mercury Cougar. These later front bumper guards have a rubber pad that measures 1-1/8 inches wide on the flat rear surface. Same rubber strip either right or left side. Hard to find without some scaring on the rubber. This pad is more common than the thinner 3/4 inches wide pad.Replaces Ford part number D3AB-17A812-B.

Headlamp center shaft actuator rod clips. Sold individually, two clips needed, one on each side of the shaft. Not really needed, probably kept the shaft ends from moving during installation. We have found two different sizes of these clips. No pattern between 1969 and 1970.

This one in, one out design was unique to the early 1967 Cougar for the headlights. Also found on vacuum controlled options like the 1967 Mustang Cougar tilt / tilt-away steering column. This is a good used unit that has been tested and found to hold vacuum well. This valve is located a few inches behind the carburetor.

This clip looks just like the larger quarter extension moulding / trim moulding clip, but is smaller (as our comparison picture shows). One clip per side is used to attach the tail end (smaller end) of the moulding / trim to the extension. This unit is also almost exactly the same as the rear deck / trunk lid moulding / trim clip, but this quarter extension clip has a slightly shorter stud. Rarely will the clip you get look as good as the pictured here, usually the "finger" will be missing....

This rectangular trim part is located on the right side of the glove box on all 1967 - 1968 Mercury Cougars without factory installed AC. This could be referred to as a passenger side AC vent block off plate. Our used pieces taken from parts cars usually need to be painted but sometimes will pass as-is for a driver quality car. We cannot promise we will have your color in stock but we will try to accommodate your request of color.

This restored trim piece mounts to the back of the vent frame of any 1967-68 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. Driver side only, made of galvanized steel. Faded but good used emblem with aluminum foil background. If you push on the swedged aluminum studs from the backside these will easily remove. The standard grill emblem with a walking cat uses the same stud configuration as XR7 so you can exchange emblems from one to another.

These plastic fillers were mounted to the end of the 1970 hood extension and filled the gap between center grille surround (extension) and the side grilles.
