Ford offered the 1973 Mercury Cougar hood emblem in two versions as a service replacement part. It is very rare to find them new in the box with the chrome center hood moulding, usually they are found without the chrome. This was found at the Spring 2007 Ford Carlisle show. This is the correct horn panel bezel for all 1968 Cougar XR7 steering wheels. The satin paint will need to be resprayed but the two mounting studs are in place and there are no cracks or burns.
